Omg! Joke of the year 2010!!
Would you ever ask your boss to arrange meeting for you?
One of my colleague did it!! Can you imagine he was asking a boss who has like 50-60 subordinates to arrange meeting?
What does he expect from the boss?
"Hi XXXX,
We have arranged a meeting on XXXXXX at XXXXXX. Kindly please join this meeting. Thanks."
Perhaps he is really expecting above message from bosses. Haha! Really joke of the year 2010!!
Last year I had a joke of the year 2009, which my ex-boss asked my ex-colleagues to bring along their desktop (CPU) to go oversea for a project!!
Suggestions from him:
I said: Boss, we need two more laptop for this oversea project.
Ex-boss: We have no budget on this (Two laptop is just cost him max about RM6k)
I said: Then how they work when they fly to oversea?
Ex-boss: Can you ask them to bring the desktop over, we should be able to borrow monitor, keyboard and mouse from the client.
I said: How to carry? It is not small.
Ex-boss: Ask them to send in as luggage.
I said: No, the officer will throw the CPU.
Ex-boss: Then ask them to hand carry.
I said: It is too big for hand carry.
Ex-boss: Ask them to de-assemble the components and re-assemble after reach ther.
I said: Sorry boss, I can't tell this to them.
Ex-boss: Oh, okay then you draft the email and send to me then I will forward to them. (He must be thinking I'm so stupid to write in email saying that I suggest or ask my colleagues to bring their CPU over)
I said: OK.
What I did was, I wrote the email like below:
"Hi boss,
As per you decision, you are asking XXXX and XXXX to bring their CPU over.....,"
